Real - Insulated Ceramic Cup
At first glance, the cup seems difficult to be modelled, especially the irregular feature on the surface.
Yet, from the tutorial, the steps are relatively simple.
All you need is some patience to arrange to get the desired pattern.
Actually it is from a subtraction between multiple bodies.
First time to know the assembly work can be saved as a part file.
And from the part file, other steps could be continued.
Also, for the decals, it is quite a useful feature to use to give a desired appearance.
For example, the latte art is actually a picture I found on Google.
It can just be placed onto a surface directly.
Really put much effort in arranging the patterns.
Also, due to improper arrangement, I had faced difficulties to give fillets at one go.
Really, patience is gold.
Real - Pot of Gold Money Jar
Another tutorial from the Solidworks blog post.
Quite a few new techniques introduced in this tutorial.
For example, the legs of the pot.
It is first time to know that the extrude boss feature could extrude a sketch not perpendicularly to the plane but to a certain direction as long as the direction is defined.
Also, the solid bodies could be moved or rotated afterwards.
And also for the handle, especially on a curved surface.
Just using simple extrude boss and fillets feature can create a perfect handle.
Finally is the wire, which made from sweep boss feature while tweaking certain options.
And the result of it, multiple of wires are twisting together to form a thick durable wire.
It is quite a challenging piece of work.
Unfortunately the tutorial didn't include the animation shown at the last part of tutorial.
Real - Drop Out Bowl Mold
Recently I found a blog post published on Solidworks website and the posts included some design tutorial for complex parts.
And one of the items is the drop out bowl mold as shown.
In this item, a lot of features is used such as loft extrude, dome, and the combine feature, which add or subtract the two objects into one singular object.
Also, it is a first to know that the fillet command is able to fillet several features together if certain requirements could be fulfilled.
Quite a challenging and beneficial tutorial which allows me to learn multiple feature commands at once.
Detailed steps are as shown in the blog post.

Real - Coil
Real - Growing Bucket
This time is a growing bucket which comprises of the Extrude at an angle, Shell and Circular Pattern.
Circular Pattern is almost similar to Linear Pattern, except that the shape is repeated in circular shape.
From below image, i only created a hole shown in orange.
And the other holes in blue are all created with Circular Pattern.
And this is the tutorial link.
Girls' Frontline - Procurement Coin
Girls' Frontline is a mobile strategy game which I thought I played for the longest time.
In summary, the player which would be the commander, would command the Tactical Dolls which each of them represents a real-world firearm to defend the human kinds from rebelled automation robots.
I like their clean user interface and also the development of the story.
Yet, I quitted the game as I realized I had spent too much time on it.
Although so, I am still following the game news to continue to follow up with the newly released characters and story.
Those who are interested could have a search on it.

Real - DDRAM
Introduction of a new feature called Linear Pattern.
Basically by selecting a feature, one could crate the feature repeatedly by specifying the distance between each interval, the number of instance and the axis required.
Quite a useful feature if require to create a feature repeatedly.
For this model, the tutorial is separated into two parts.
This is part 1.
And this is part 2.
Real - USB Socket
A practice of basic features like previous piece.
Yet, tweak around some additional features in Extruded Cut which the solid part is cut through all along the axis or up to a specified vertex.
And this would be the tutorial video link.
Real - Castrul Pan
A combination of few basic features such as Extruded Boss, Fillet and Shell.
Still amazed by how the handle could be created using such combination.
Just for side topic, I had actually finished this tutorial piece few weeks ago.
And recently I had learnt to use the Rendering feature.
So I will keep posted rendered image for the following posts.
And this is the tutorial video link.

Real - 0.2L Glass
Quite some work required for the edge of the glass edge.
As the dimension is not predetermined, the sketch is edited a few times even followed exactly the same as tutorial video.
And this would be the tutorial video link.
Real - Dish Plate
Finally found a satisfying presentation way for the work. (Yay)
Anyways, dish plate comprises few Extruded Boss with draft angles, and finally touches up with the Shell feature.
I gave it a blue color as the color won't be too bright or too dark, which the dish plate could show all its profile shape.
And this would be the tutorial video link.
Real - Plastic Can
After going through the hardship from the last series of work, I decided to follow the YouTube tutorial video first.
Hope able to learn the basic skills first before proceeding with the initial series.
And my first piece is the plastic can, an assembly of the cap and the body.

Well, it was quite convenient to use the function Shell.
Or else I have to use Extruded Boss and Extruded Cut for multiple times to get the same result.

Maple Story - Throwing Stars
As a motivation for learning Solidwork 3D drawing, I decided to draw some anime or game weapon.
Adn the first thought came to my mind was the MMORPG Maple Story.
It was my favorite game during my study time.
And the class that I felt the coolest was the assassin, who used claws too throw throwing stars at the enemies.
And thus, I tried to draw all the throwing stars available in the game.
As I drew shuriken before, and the game graphic was much simpler (cute 2D graphic).
I thought it was a suitable challenge for beginners.
Yet, I was too naive...
